Designing New Forms of Responsibility

Together with you, we would like to examine current technological developments such as generative AI, social media, and digital platforms, as well as the new forms of responsibility that arise from them in research and society. The focus will be on their legal and infrastructural frameworks, the importance of good scientific practice, and the increasingly urgent question of digital sovereignty and resilience – and the responsibility we bear as researchers and members of society.

Registration: via DFN-Poll by 25.05.2025.

Programm

We will start with a 10-minute short presentation series: What interests me and why do I research it? by our panelists. This will be followed by a panel discussion.
Moderation: Shintaro Miyasaki (digitale Medien und Computation, HU Berlin)
Panelist:innen:

  • Malte Dreyer, Director Computer- and Media Service, HU Berlin
