The DFG-funded project TextPloring aims to make the text data archived in the LAUDATIO repository accessible for interdisciplinary research. To capture both cross-disciplinary and discipline-specific requirements—as well as usage contexts—for this purpose, the metadata model is being further developed through expert interviews with researchers from the fields of history and linguistics, as well as through user studies. The implemented plaintext extraction and metadata visualizations open up new possibilities for the exploratory analysis of the collections.
The format consists of a 30-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute discussion. The presentations are organised via Zoom to enable broad participation. All lectures are also listed in the Event-Section of the website.
