Researching with GitLab at HU – From Tickets to Pipelines
What is GitLab: Many researchers and lecturers use HU-GitLab for their software development, data processing, and the organisation of associated tasks.
As an orchestration platform, many use – in addition to versioning and branch management – wikis for documentation, CI/CD to automate processes, generate GitLab Pages, and/or organise teams working on software or data with Issues, Milestones, and Boards.
Why participate?
Whether tickets, CI/CD pipelines, or version control: HU-GitLab supports diverse workflows in research and teaching. But how do colleagues actually use the platform? Where do common challenges lie, where can synergies be identified? What forms of peer-to-peer exchange help with working on GitLab?
The IZ AG git+ invites you to a networking event. Three thematic slots – project management, data work, software development – structure the exchange, but nothing is mandatory. Bring your questions, your workarounds, or your curiosity.
Target group: All those who use GitLab at HU or are considering whether it supports their work context – regardless of experience level.
